Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardinho Gaspar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carlos Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Pena hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Oséas Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Valdemar Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Logrador FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes, Celso Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surubabel and the Logrador FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Logrador FC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silvinho Lara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Surubabel's Eurico Leite. 0-1. Oséas Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Leite having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Celsinho Quintal took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Patrick Donato to make any attempt to save it. 26 minutes into the match, Logrador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Gaspar came free, but Patrick Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Surubabel's Bernardinho Gaspar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Donato. That made the score 2-1 after 29 minutes of play. Geovânio Simão hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Logrador FC's Patrick Donato got control of the ball when Celsinho Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Logrador FC defense, Celsinho Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Donato. The Logrador FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Donato should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Logrador FC's zone, Celsinho Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Donato came out of the goal and Celsinho Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Valdemar Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Logrador FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Logrador FC's Valdemar Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bernardinho Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Surubabel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Gaspar couldn't finish the play. Oséas Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Pena in the 68th minute of play forced Logrador FC's goalkeeper Patrick Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celsinho Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bernardinho Gaspar might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardinho Gaspar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, Valdemar Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celso Negri was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Logrador FC booed when Surubabel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Logrador FC's Valdemar Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Pedro Augusto Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Leite having to interfere. Eurico Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséas Linares's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Surubabel's goalkeeper Eurico Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Surubabel's Carlos Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Surubabel could leave the field as winners, despite Logrador FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
