Valdemar Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tabainha SC's Juvenal Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Linares in the 7th minute of play. Logrador FC's Oséas Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Oséas Linares fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Juvenal Brito, passed just outside the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Tabainha SC's goalkeeper Juvenal Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Faria. 20 minutes into the game, Váldson Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabainha SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Logrador FC the free kick. Váldson Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tabainha SC's Manolo Sarmento got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Oséas Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Brito having to interfere. Valdemar Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Brito having to interfere. Patrick Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerson Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Gerson Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonardo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerson Campidelis went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After the first half Tabainha SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséas Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Logrador FC's zone, Gerson Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Donato came out of the goal and Gerson Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juvenal Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséas Linares went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Oséas Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Juvenal Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Donato having to interfere. When Valdemar Faria came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Logrador FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Faria couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Oséas Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Logrador FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséas Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
