Ademar Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maraa AD. Ademar Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paulo Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, one of Maraa AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maraa AD. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fiori Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maraa AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiori Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademar Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Claudinei Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saids AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maraa AD the free kick. Fiori Prestes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Fiori Prestes took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Bastos. Ademar Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gernando Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Gonçalo Martins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otávio Dracena. The goal made the score 2-1. Fiori Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Bastos having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Saids AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maraa AD:s goal. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Maraa AD. Frédson Mendes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ademar Bastos. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fiori Prestes made a kick off. Fiori Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes of play, Maraa AD's Dalmo Pirani made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Otávio Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Guimarães in the 64th minute of the match. Ademar Bastos made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fiori Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Otávio Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Rodrigo de Andrade's late challenge caught a Saids AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Rodrigo de Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Bastos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Dalmo Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Maraa AD getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gildo Luz hit a great ball. If Fiori Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 3-4 became the score in the 93rd minute when Gonçalo Martins elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
