Balins SC's Sandrinho Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Luizinho Cearense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sandrinho Maia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luizinho Cearense came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandrinho Maia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. When %teams%'s Tadeu Ceresso was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 25 minutes into the game. Luizinho Cearense was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Sandrinho Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Luizinho Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Pinheiro in the 30th minute of play forced Balins SC's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Luiz Paulo Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabino Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tibúrcio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Sabino Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sandrinho Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibúrcio Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Dias in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeu Ceresso to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Balins SC's Tibúrcio Alcântara got control of the ball when Manoel Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Sabino Pinheiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tibúrcio Alcântara. Sabino Pinheiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Sabino Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Tibúrcio Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Mandacaru AD getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Zeca Eger hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Rony Torres sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mandacaru AD's Luizinho Cearense didn't even have to move. In the 80thth minute of the game Sabino Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balins SC's Tibúrcio Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Balins SC's zone, Manoel Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibúrcio Alcântara came out of the goal and Manoel Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabino Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tibúrcio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabino Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manoel Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
