The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 played minutes Crisciuma FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Ferreira. 6 minutes into the game, Mauro Catarinense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Natã Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Mauro Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carobinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Crisciuma FC's Lauro da Rocha. But to his dismay, Lauro da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dadá dos Santos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Marcus Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano de Queiroz having to interfere. If Beto Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Mauro Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Azevedo having to interfere. Lauro da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Prado succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The audience was convinced that Lauro da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano de Queiroz was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauro da Rocha in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano de Queiroz saved Carobinha from getting behind.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauro da Rocha made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Crisciuma FC's Reynaldo Correia got a free kick in the 55th minute. Natã Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Romeu Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Natã Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crisciuma FC's Lauro da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Beto Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Carobinha's Willian Pinheiro got a free kick in the 67th minute. Natã Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Prado in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Carobinha getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. João Carlos Zonta hit a great ball. Natã Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Mauro Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natã Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Prado in the 95th minute of play.
