Veneto's Fausto Negri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cajaiba SS. Aníbal Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Chaves in the 16th minute of the match. Natanael Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Sidnei Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Veneto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Negri in the 49th minute. Fausto Negri made a great header on Veneto's corner, it was just that Cajaiba SS's Ciro Loyola managed to reach the ball for a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidnei Machado made a kick off. Ciro Loyola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei Machado's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Sidnei Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Loyola was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute Rafinha Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
