Rafinha Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Juvenal Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Sidnei Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veneto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juvenal Zilles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei Machado's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Valério Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igatemi FC's Juvenal Zilles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Machado in the 23rd minute of play. Víktor Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Veneto getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Víktor Recife hit a great ball. If Cássio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Aníbal Castro made a huge save. Sidnei Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juvenal Zilles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Aníbal Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Igatemi FC's zone, Adriano Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Zilles came out of the goal and Adriano Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes of play, Igatemi FC's Cássio Recife made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aníbal Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Valério Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Juvenal Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69th play minutes Sidnei Machado shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Juvenal Zilles and just under the crossbar into goal. If Sidnei Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Igatemi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Machado came free, but Juvenal Zilles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Rafinha Andrade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Veneto's Aníbal Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Recife in the 79th minute of play. Sidnei Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Juvenal Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidnei Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juvenal Zilles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Valdir Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Aníbal Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Hoffmann in the 94th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
