Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Franklin Fernandez started the match with the kick off. Ciro Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Almeida in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cajaiba SS's zone, Franklin Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Loyola came out of the goal and Franklin Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Gil Almeida notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cajaiba SS's Ciro Loyola. Ciro Loyola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anselmo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delfim Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Abelardo Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Canal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Chaves in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Canal's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Chaves came free, but Delfim Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Cajaiba SS's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Fernandez came free, but Ciro Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cajaiba SS's Ciro Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Fernandez in the 33rd minute of play. Canal's Matheus Bezerra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cajaiba SS. Franklin Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cajaiba SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canal were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Chaves to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gil Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Abelardo Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cajaiba SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delfim Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Cajaiba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Vianna to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cajaiba SS's Davi de Almeida got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Canal's Matheus Bezerra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Canal booed when Cajaiba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheus Bezerra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cajaiba SS's Ciro Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Fernandez in the 81st minute of play. Delfim Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi de Almeida in the 92nd minute of play. Franklin Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Loyola having to interfere. Franklin Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ciro Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Canal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
