Valério Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Loyola having to interfere. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Valério Hoffmann sped through Cajaiba SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Loyola. Anselmo Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Chaves in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Zilles saved Igatemi FC from getting behind. Davi de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Valério Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, one of Cajaiba SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cajaiba SS. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juvenal Zilles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Zilles having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Igatemi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Rosado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Chaves in the 57th minute of play forced Igatemi FC's goalkeeper Juvenal Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Abelardo Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Zilles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Carlos Pimenta's late challenge caught a Cajaiba SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Carlos Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Igatemi FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Pimenta hit a great ball. Anselmo Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Juvenal Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igatemi FC's Juvenal Zilles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Chaves in the 77th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Cajaiba SS got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Castro. Wilton Senna hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Cássio Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cajaiba SS getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Matheus Vianna hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Cajaiba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Pombal to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Luiz Gustavo Bittencourt in the 95th minute of play was well struck, but Ciro Loyola made a really good save at the right post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
