Telmo Couto hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frederico Valadares was the one to do the kick off. If Frederico Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Leopoldo de Souza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chiquinho Proença, passed just outside the right post. After 74 minutes, Willian Meireles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baby FC and the Surubim AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Baby FC had played much better football throughout.
