João Paulo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Perez having to interfere. Víktor Dias's late challenge caught a Crystaes SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víktor Dias helped the player get up and apologised. Víktor Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Oséias Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. After having played for 20 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itueta EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Paulo Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Perez having to interfere. In the 28th minute Osvaldinho Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elivélton Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldinho Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Fabrício Perez managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Itueta EC's Luiz Fabiano Alagoano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luiz Fabiano Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Fabrício Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Crystaes SS's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Alagoano came free, but Fabrício Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomé de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Crystaes SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomé de Barros couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fabiano Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Perez having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Crystaes SS got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Recife. But to his dismay, João Paulo Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fabrício Perez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arthur Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 95 minute of play. Itueta EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
