Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Danilo Lago got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Luis's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Figueiredo came free, but Olívio Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Luis getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Régis Teles hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Luis's Régis Teles got a free kick in the 7th minute. Vitório de Andrade was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th match minute, Luis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Teles to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cavalheiros AD's Hélder Lago fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 11 played minutes Luis got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Koehler. Jano Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Mota having to interfere. A collision led to Cavalheiros AD getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. João Augusto de Souza hit a great ball. Oscar Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Luis getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. João Pedro Brasil hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Hélder Lago notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Luis's Olívio Almeida. Olívio Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Jano Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Cavalheiros AD fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Cavalheiros AD's Hélder Lago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Danilo Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luis's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Mota was a little too slow when Danilo Lago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-2. Jano Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Olívio Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Lago in the 54th minute of the match. Danilo Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Recife in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, João Augusto de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Mota having to interfere. Jano Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Lago in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Mota saved Cavalheiros AD from getting behind. Alberto Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jano Recife went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Olívio Almeida made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when João Augusto de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Jano Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Mota having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Oscar Figueiredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olívio Almeida. That made the score 2-3 in the 95 minute of play.
