Joaquim Alagoano started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Alagoano scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Régis Faustino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Hamílton Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marroa's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis Faustino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Marroa getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Christiano Dante hit a great ball. Zé Pedro Zanette's late challenge caught a Tamanoua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Marroa getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zé Pedro Zanette hit a great ball. Hamílton Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Régis Faustino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Hamílton Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walmir Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gabriel Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Andrade having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Vergílio in the 41st minute of play forced Marroa's goalkeeper Gabriel Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar Nóbrega came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Andrade could save by the left post. Hamílton Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Régis Faustino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Vergílio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celsinho Freitas in the 61st minute of play forced Marroa's goalkeeper Gabriel Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tamanoua's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Joaquim Alagoano scored to the left of an out of position Régis Faustino, making the score, 0-2. Marroa's Gabriel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Vergílio in the 70th minute of play. Régis Faustino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 minutes of play, Marroa's Hamílton Salgado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Régis Faustino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kauan Cosme hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Gabriel Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Baltazar Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Gabriel Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamanoua. The Marroa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
