Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Souto in the 5th minute of play forced Periquara's goalkeeper Marcinho Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Félix struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Marcinho Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracai. Marcinho Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Félix in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Conrado da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maracai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Periquara the free kick. After a rather tough play, Maracai's Conrado da Fonseca got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maracai's zone, Perivaldo Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Quintal came out of the goal and Perivaldo Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maracai's Filipe Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Maurício Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Periquara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleandro Sabóia during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Periquara got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Sabóia. When Maracai's Filipe Félix in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Periquara's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Periquara's Carlinhos Vander got a free kick in the 39th minute. Víktor Silva hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Valdo Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marcinho Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurício Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Filipe Félix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Fontes. Periquara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Félix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Maurício Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Armindo Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Maracai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Lopes to maneuver through the defense. If Maurício Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Tavares notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Maracai's Armindo Quintal. Armindo Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armindo Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
