Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oswaldo de Sena made the kick off which started today's match. Lino Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Natanael de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Ibipetum's Fausto Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Vianna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Natanael de Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Vasconcelos in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Neves during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, one of Pinheira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Róbson Soeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Natanael de Souza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomás Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo de Sena in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Pinheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fausto Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinheira's Róbson Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswaldo de Sena in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Vianna saved Pinheira from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbson Soeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Natanael de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Vasconcelos in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Dedé Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibipetum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinheira the free kick. Dedé Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Róbson Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinheira's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Vasconcelos in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natanael de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Róbson Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbson Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natanael de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Soeiro in the 60th minute of play. Ibipetum's Natanael de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Soeiro in the 63rd minute of play. Dedé Carvalho got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Dedé Carvalho hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Natanael de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Hermínio Peixoto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheira's goalkeeper Tomás Vianna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Fausto Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ibipetum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Tomás Vianna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Carvalho in the 89th minute. Ibipetum's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
