Aleandro Rosado acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wágner Vergílio. Ronca SS's Júnior Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Romero in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomás Romero in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júnior Sá saved Ronca SS from getting behind. Dedê Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Aleandro Rosado made a huge save. Júnior Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Romero in the 11th minute of the match. Aleandro Rosado made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Dedê Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. Oséas das Neves's late challenge caught a Ronca SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséas das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jequie getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Oséas das Neves hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Jequie got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Chaves. After 19 played minutes, Ronca SS's Carlos Mazza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aleandro Rosado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ronca SS reached it. Aleandro Rosado made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Dedê Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th match minute, Jequie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Rodriguinho Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Júnior Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Sá came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Jequie's Rodriguinho Xavier. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Rodriguinho Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Aleandro Rosado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dedê Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleandro Rosado having to make a save. If Thomás Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Vitinho de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitinho de Almeida was the one to do the kick off. If Dedê Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho de Almeida scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aleandro Rosado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Jequie's zone, Dedê Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleandro Rosado came out of the goal and Dedê Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilson Reis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Vitinho de Almeida's late challenge caught a Jequie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitinho de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ronca SS getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vitinho de Almeida hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes Ronca SS got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Freire. 72 minutes into the match, Jequie's Chicão Arce broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 77 minutes, Rodriguinho Xavier made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ronca SS's Júnior Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Jequie's Thomás Romero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júnior Sá. Júnior Sá yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilson Reis during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
