If Fabrício Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Ribeiro in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Mojeiro were awarded a corner. Moisés Loyola went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Moisés Loyola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Júlio Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Júlio Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Sabino Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mojeiro's Yuri Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Aleluia SC's Elano Quintal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Mojeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Severo to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The supporters of Aleluia SC booed when Mojeiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrício Ribeiro made a kick off. Sabino Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Yuri Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Júlio Almeida made a huge save. 71 minutes into the game, Agenor Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aleluia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mojeiro the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Aleluia SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mojeiro:s goal. The referee gave Mojeiro a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Moisés Loyola, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aleluia SC's Júlio Almeida. 1-1. Júlio Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Passos in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Mojeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Quintal came free, but Yuri Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabrício Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Evandro Paulista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 98th minute Fabrício Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
