Mucuripe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santissimo the free kick. Francisco Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Viana having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Mucuripe's André Neto made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 96th minute, Francisco Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mucuripe's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
