In the 3rd minute, Cauã Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Cauã Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caxitore AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauã Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adhemar Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caxitore AD's Olívio de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Caxitore AD were awarded a corner. Vivaldo Lopes went to the cornerflag to take it. Vivaldo Lopes made a great header on Caxitore AD's corner, it was just that Abade's Adhemar Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17thth minute of the game Cauã Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abade's Adhemar Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abade's zone, Olívio de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Varela came out of the goal and Olívio de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Cido Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caxitore AD the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Abade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Souto to maneuver through the defense. When Cauã Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Caxitore AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Mangueira couldn't finish the play. Olívio de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauã Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Varela having to interfere. In the 36th minute Cauã Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorian Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorian Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vânderson Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony de Almeida having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cauã Mangueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cido Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Caxitore AD defense, Vânderson Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rony de Almeida. The Caxitore AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rony de Almeida should have stopped the shot. Adhemar Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Cunha in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Caxitore AD getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vivaldo Lopes hit a great ball. Abade's Teodoro Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rony de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vânderson Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony de Almeida having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Tande during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrique Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Cido Souto made a precise shot to the right of Rony de Almeida. Caxitore AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 77 minutes into the match, Cido Souto notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Caxitore AD's Rony de Almeida. Rony de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Cauã Mangueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adhemar Varela, 3-1. Cauã Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Adhemar Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauã Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Varela having to interfere. Abade were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caxitore AD for a fine match.
