Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jefferson de Amaral made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. João Vítor Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perivaldo Leite went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. João Vítor Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson de Amaral in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Daniel Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Daniel Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jefferson de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Vítor Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Favoretto hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tabaiana EC! 30 minutes into the match, Geru's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Sena came free, but Hélder Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Geru booed when Tabaiana EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Geru's Manoel de Alcântara broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jefferson de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Queirós having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osmar Sena to make the kick off. Daniel Leite struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. João Vítor Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geru. After a rather tough play, Tabaiana EC's Enrique Silveira got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Tabaiana EC's Osmar Sena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hélder Madureira. Hélder Madureira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. If Osmar Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Sena in the 67th minute of the match. Daniel Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Vítor Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. When Perivaldo Leite came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Tabaiana EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perivaldo Leite couldn't finish the play. Osmar Sena scored 1-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélder Madureira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tabaiana EC's Osmar Sena was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 95th minute, Osmar Sena fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Tabaiana EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tabaiana EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
