Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emílio Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. If Délio Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quirino's Giovani Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Teixeira in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Quirino got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Chaves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Teixeira in the 17th minute of play forced Quirino's goalkeeper Giovani Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Délio Maranhense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Giovani Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Délio Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuounare's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Quirino getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Amílton Arce hit a great ball. João Carlos Neto came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Quirino's Silvério Tavares. But to his dismay, Silvério Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Conrado Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Carlos Neto having to make a save.

In the 53rd match minute, Tuounare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Zézinho Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Medeiros having to interfere. Tuounare's Délio Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Quirino got a freekick which was hit by Elias Sá. Quirino's Giovani Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Teixeira in the 74th minute of play. João Carlos Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Carlos Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvério Tavares in the 87th minute. João Carlos Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Prestes in the 89th minute of play. Emílio Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Giovani Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
