Dorian Quaresma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Prestes went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Kiko Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Osmar Queirós fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Osmar Queirós struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Giovani Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Massangana. Dorian Quaresma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilmar de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Prestes in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Quaresma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quirino's Giovani Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Queirós in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Osmar Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quirino's Giovani Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilmar de Queirós was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Gilmar de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Tavares in the 34th minute of play forced Massangana's goalkeeper Dorian Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Medeiros having to interfere. Kiko Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Giovani Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 55 minutes Massangana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alan Lara who took care of the corner kick. Alan Lara made a great header on Quirino's corner, it was just that Massangana's Dorian Quaresma managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luís Lucas during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Luís Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Alan Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorian Quaresma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Quirino defense, Osmar Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovani Medeiros. The Quirino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani Medeiros should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Quirino's zone, Kiko Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovani Medeiros came out of the goal and Kiko Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quirino's Giovani Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Queirós in the 93rd minute of play. Kiko Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovani Medeiros having to make a save. After some careless play in the Quirino defense, Osmar Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovani Medeiros. The Quirino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovani Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Massangana's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
