Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Souto was the one to do the kick off. Jahu's Rubinho Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Leão in the 53rd minute of play. Marcos Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Souto in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Itacurubi AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcos Ceresso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Jahu booed when Itacurubi AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Itacurubi AD's zone, Luís Guilherme Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jahu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Itacurubi AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jahu's performance. The match ended with a win for Jahu.
