The supporters of Buzios EC booed when Araticum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Olívio de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Antônio Carlos Ortiz. Buzios EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Olívio de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Carlos Ortiz having to interfere. A collision led to Buzios EC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. João Paulo Vander hit a great ball. Zacarias Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Meira in the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Pinho in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Carlos Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enio Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flávio Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Carlos Ortiz having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Maurinho Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buzios EC and the Araticum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurinho Félix hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Antônio Carlos Ortiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flávio Pinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 48 minute of play.

The wind increased when Enio Meira made the kick off in the second half. Tarcisio do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tarcisio do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Enio Meira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zacarias Batista. The goal made the score 4-1. Tarcisio do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes, Flávio Pinho made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Buzios EC's Antônio Carlos Ortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ezequiel Barral lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Araticum fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Buzios EC. Dalmo Arce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zacarias Batista. 5-2. Antônio Carlos Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio de Brito in the 89th minute of play. If Tarcisio do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Zacarias Batista came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Buzios EC's Tarcisio do Vale. But to his dismay, Tarcisio do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Araticum's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
