Paulo José Lopez started the match with the kick off. Gernando Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Paulo José Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo José Lopez struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Edinho Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potengy. If Paulo José Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Torres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of José dos Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cléberson Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José dos Santos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Potengy's Silas Loyola got a free kick in the 21st minute. William Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but José dos Santos made a huge save. In the 30th minute, William Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo José Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ituacu FC's William Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If William Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Torres got free with José dos Santos in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cléberson Vale made the kick off in the second half. Silas Loyola hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cléberson Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ituacu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléberson Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. José dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Cafu Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potengy and the Ituacu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cléberson Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edinho Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Cléberson Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. José dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Paulo José Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Cléberson Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute William Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulo José Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Potengy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo José Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Ituacu FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Potengy for a fine match.
