Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fausto Linhares got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes, Cachirimbu's Christiano de Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wágner Barral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachirimbu reached it. Fausto Linhares's late challenge caught a Cachirimbu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kroeff SC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fausto Linhares hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hílton Vieira got free with Wágner Barral in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Wiliam Quirino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kroeff SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachirimbu the free kick. Wiliam Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Murillo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Fausto Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Trancoso. Cachirimbu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 27 minutes of play, Kroeff SC's Fausto Linhares made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Claudinei Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Fabiano Quintal took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Trancoso. Giovanni Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luís Fabiano Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Kroeff SC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Murillo Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. If Murillo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Fausto Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kroeff SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Trancoso came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Kroeff SC's Luís Fabiano Quintal. But to his dismay, Luís Fabiano Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luís Fabiano Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Giovanni Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fausto Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Kroeff SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Linhares couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Hílton Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Wágner Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the match, Cachirimbu's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Linhares came free, but Giovanni Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fabiano Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Trancoso having to interfere. Fausto Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. 1-5 became the score in the 89th minute when Luís Fabiano Quintal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kroeff SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
