Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rômulo Pinheiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Celsinho Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafim Prata made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Tarcisio da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Tarcisio da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Fantini in the 15th minute of play forced Macauari's goalkeeper Eusébio Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Miraguaia SS booed when Macauari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umberto Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fiori Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Serafim Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Diniz in the 23rd minute of play. If Celsinho Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miraguaia SS's Serafim Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Miraguaia SS from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Miraguaia SS's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Cunha came free, but Serafim Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Edinho Ferraz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miraguaia SS and the Macauari players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Miraguaia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. When Umberto Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Miraguaia SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Fantini couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celsinho Diniz to make the kick off. Eusébio Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarcisio da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Serafim Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 70th minute of the match Edinho Ferraz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edinho Ferraz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Edinho Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Miraguaia SS's Rômulo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Macauari's Jano Prata tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Miraguaia SS's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Diniz came free, but Serafim Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celsinho Diniz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafim Prata saved Miraguaia SS from getting behind. In the 80thth minute of the game Celsinho Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miraguaia SS's Serafim Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarcisio da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Prata having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celsinho Diniz in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafim Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarcisio da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Serafim Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rômulo Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miraguaia SS's protests and gave Rômulo Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 minutes Miraguaia SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jano Prata who took care of the corner kick. Macauari were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Miraguaia SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jano Prata took the corner. The Macauari manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Miraguaia SS to win.
