After a rather tough play, Genuino SC's Luiz Veiga got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Giuseppe Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovanni Alagoano was a little too slow when Edgar Salgado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Felippe Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Geovanni Alagoano made a huge save. Rafa Rezende's late challenge caught a Melissa AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafa Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Melissa AD got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Quintal. Kaká de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Kaká de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melissa AD's Rony de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká de Amorim in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The long shot by Evandro Prestes in the 56th minute really tested Rony de Castro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Felippe Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Geovanni Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Alagoano having to interfere. Felippe Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Ribeiro in the 66th minute of play. Kaká de Amorim spun around in front of the goal 80 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Melissa AD's goal. Geovanni Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kaká de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genuino SC's Rafa Rezende got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Rafa Rezende off the ground. Rafa Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Edgar Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Genuino SC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Melissa AD from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
