Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dráusio Matorin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Carlos Alberto da Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silas Veloso skillfully saved the ball. Wiliam Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eriberto Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Geovani Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wiliam Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Salgado having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Dráusio Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráusio Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silas Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Travassos in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Wiliam Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guedes's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Zilles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Marquez's late challenge caught a Guedes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Iraucuba EC's David Marquez got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Dráusio Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Zilles got free with Eriberto Salgado in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dráusio Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Guedes's Dráusio Matorin in the 43rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Eriberto Salgado was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Iraucuba EC through an amazing save. 48 minutes into the match, Iraucuba EC's Geovani Sampaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silas Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geovani Sampaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Guedes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geovani Sampaio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Silas Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Travassos in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão de Medeiros during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simão de Medeiros hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Sampaio in the 60th minute of play forced Guedes's goalkeeper Silas Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guedes's Silas Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Guedes from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Guedes's goalkeeper Silas Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Travassos. Hortêncio Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silas Veloso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geovani Sampaio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 75 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Guedes's zone, Hortêncio Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas Veloso came out of the goal and Hortêncio Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Flavinho Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
