Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonathan Madureira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Léo Hames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Cordeiro in the 4th minute of play. Oswaldo Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Léo Hames made a huge save. Wágner Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Matías Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estopa SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veado the free kick. A collision led to Estopa SS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Matías Faria hit a great ball. Léo Hames stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belmiro Senna's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Oswaldo Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Léo Hames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veado. Matías Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celsinho Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matías Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Moreno during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matías Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veado's Celsinho Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Madureira in the 38th minute of play. Belmiro Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Hames having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Belmiro Senna took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Léo Hames to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Wágner Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Faria got free with Celsinho Varela in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jonathan Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estopa SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celsinho Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Madureira's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Veado's Wágner Terra got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Jonathan Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Hames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Belmiro Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veado's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Hames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
