Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Belmiro Senna started the match with the kick off. Eurico Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Varela having to interfere. Celsinho Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho de Queirós in the 5th minute of play. Sílvio Luz, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Belmiro Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erivaldo Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oswaldo Cordeiro got free with Erivaldo Eger in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Veado booed when Pinheira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Belmiro Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ronaldinho de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celsinho Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho de Queirós in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Veado's goalkeeper Celsinho Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erivaldo Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oswaldo Cordeiro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Júlio Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronaldinho de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Hames to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pinheira SC's Júlio Soeiro got a free kick in the 55th minute. Percival Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Celsinho Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Hames in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Pinheira SC were awarded a corner. Luizinho Miranda went to the cornerflag to take it. Luizinho Miranda made a great header on Pinheira SC's corner, it was just that Veado's Celsinho Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. Oswaldo Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Veado's Oswaldo Cordeiro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Celsinho Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Hames's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Diego Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erivaldo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Senna in the 86th minute of the match. Belmiro Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Veado. Sílvio Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erivaldo Eger. 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pinheira SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Veado.
