Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josué Miranda took the kick off in the first half of the match. Egídio Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wellington Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Josué Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luna EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Manhuassu's Hamílton Azevedo got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Simões in the 19th minute of play forced Luna EC's goalkeeper Wellington Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Manhuassu's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Miranda came free, but Pedro Luiz de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Luna EC defense, Egídio Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Valadares. The Luna EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Valadares should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Simões in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Valadares saved Luna EC from getting behind. Manhuassu's Egídio Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Egídio Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Josué Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luna EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Josué Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luiz de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Simões was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Simões in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fábio Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz de Senna came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Luna EC's Josué Miranda. But to his dismay, Josué Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Luiz Fábio Saraiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Luiz de Senna having to make a save. Pedro Luiz de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Miranda in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Miranda in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz de Senna saved Manhuassu from getting behind. Egídio Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luna EC's Luiz Fábio Saraiva in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manhuassu's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Luiz de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Miranda in the 85th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Manhuassu's Wellington Valadares threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francisco Simões, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andrézinho de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Wellington Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Simões in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Manhuassu's Francisco Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wellington Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Luna EC's zone, Egídio Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Valadares came out of the goal and Egídio Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Valadares having to interfere. Manhuassu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
