Mateus Cunha struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Dino Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juciape EC. 9 minutes into the match, Juciape EC's Paulo José da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedrinho Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cucuy's Cristiano Cunha got a free kick in the 18th minute. Wilton Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Cordeiro having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Cucuy's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José da Silveira came free, but Dino Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo José da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Armandinho Massa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Paulo José da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Cunha in the 55th minute of play forced Cucuy's goalkeeper Dino Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, William Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Cucuy got a freekick which was hit by Davi Gonçalves. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doni Rocha got free with Edinho Cordeiro in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo José da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dino Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateus Cunha's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Mateus Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Velloso having to interfere. If Doni Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Edinho Cordeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
