Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cipriano de Mendonça started the match with the kick off. Zé Carlos Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Téo Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pindoretama's Álvaro Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano de Mendonça in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Zé Carlos Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pindoretama's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Carlos Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Cearense's late challenge caught a Pindoretama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Sílvio Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos Faria in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Botelho saved Petunia from getting behind. Zé Carlos Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Téo Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráusio Schmidt during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Petunia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Téo Botelho, was totally fooled by Pindoretama's Laércio Lima, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 25th minute Cipriano de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Zé Carlos Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindoretama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Carlos Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pindoretama's Zé Carlos Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Christiano Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Pindoretama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Bueno couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Vides in the 36th minute of play forced Pindoretama's goalkeeper Álvaro Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Pindoretama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Petunia:s goal. Álvaro Vale had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Claudinei das Neves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Pindoretama's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano de Mendonça came free, but Álvaro Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Vides in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Vale saved Pindoretama from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Carlos Faria made a kick off. Pindoretama's Álvaro Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Pindoretama from getting a goal against them. When Rafa Vides came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Petunia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Vides couldn't finish the play. Téo Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Bueno in the 67th minute of play. Téo Botelho came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Pindoretama's Christiano Bueno. But to his dismay, Christiano Bueno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Pindoretama's Álvaro Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano de Mendonça in the 74th minute of play. When Túlio Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pindoretama's protests and gave Túlio Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrício da Cunha in the 77th minute of play forced Pindoretama's goalkeeper Álvaro Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Christiano Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Sílvio Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Zé Carlos Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Botelho having to interfere. If Christiano Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pindoretama's Álvaro Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano de Mendonça in the 96th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Petunia's zone, Christiano Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Botelho came out of the goal and Christiano Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Petunia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pindoretama.
