Ulisses Cabral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Álvaro Vale. Pindoretama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pindoretama's Álvaro Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior do Nascimento in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Leite in the 19th minute of play forced Pindoretama's goalkeeper Álvaro Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Collina SS got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Rodrigues. In the 29th minute, Léo Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Ezequiel Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Carlos Faria's late challenge caught a Collina SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Carlos Faria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Pindoretama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Faria to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Belchior do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio de Lara made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Christiano Bueno sent off a good shot on target. Ezequiel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Vale having to interfere. The supporters of Collina SS booed when Pindoretama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Christiano Bueno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cláudio de Lara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Collina SS's Flavinho Pernambucano got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Belchior do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 59th minute Christiano Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 69 minutes into the match, Collina SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Faria came free, but Cláudio de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Leite in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Zé Carlos Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Belchior do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Álvaro Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pindoretama fans cheered their team off the field, for while Collina SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
