Baltazar Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmyr Fernandes's late challenge caught a Estrias FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Carauba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico Mumbach in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deivid dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Estrias FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Baltazar Diniz hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, Carauba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Antônio Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carauba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrias FC the free kick. In the 23rd minute, one of Carauba FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carauba FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Mumbach in the 28th minute of play forced Carauba FC's goalkeeper Deivid dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nico Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carauba FC's goalkeeper Deivid dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Estrias FC's zone, Armandinho Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton Baiano came out of the goal and Armandinho Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jefferson Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid dos Santos having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Nico Mumbach made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carauba FC's Deivid dos Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armandinho Jacinto to strike the kick off in the second half. When Michel Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carauba FC's protests and gave Michel Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Carauba FC's Deivid dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Mumbach in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carauba FC's zone, Jefferson Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deivid dos Santos came out of the goal and Jefferson Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Estrias FC booed when Carauba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Nico Mumbach's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deivid dos Santos was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jefferson Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrias FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid dos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carauba FC's Deivid dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Mumbach in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Armandinho Jacinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aírton Baiano. That made the score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. When Estrias FC's Nico Mumbach in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carauba FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Nico Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Carauba FC defense, Nico Mumbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deivid dos Santos. The Carauba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deivid dos Santos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Estrias FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jefferson Barros hit a great ball. Carauba FC's Deivid dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Pena in the 96th minute of play. Estrias FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
