Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Queirós started the match with the kick off. Caco Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fatima's zone, Manuel Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Paraibano came out of the goal and Manuel Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Betinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Emílio de Azevedo in the 17th minute really tested José Paulo Paraibano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 18th minute Manuel Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Alberto de Godoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbiricu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fatima the free kick. Manuel Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Paulo Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Caco Lopez put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Paulo Paraibano. José Paulo Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Lopez in the 35th minute. José Paulo Paraibano was a little too slow when Manuel Queirós got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. Betinho Terra struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gustavo Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fatima. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Vladimir Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fatima's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio Cardozo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 64th minute, Betinho Terra made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Corrêa. Imbiricu SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of Fatima booed when Imbiricu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betinho Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto de Godoy hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Fatima's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo de Amaral in the 90th minute. The corner led Fatima's Egídio Tróia to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Corrêa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Fatima's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Lopez came free, but José Paulo Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betinho Terra struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gustavo Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fatima. The Fatima players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Imbiricu SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
