Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alessandro Cavalcante got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Washington Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Itacaja's Zé Roberto Carneiro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guata FC's goalie prevented a goal. Itacaja's Amílton Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Cavalcante in the 19th minute of play. Zé Roberto Carneiro scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eurico Moraes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Itacaja's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alessandro Cavalcante 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Enrique Leme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Washington Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jorge Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Luiz Fabiano Lucas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Trancoso skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Roberto Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Itacaja fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! 54 minutes into the match, Tião Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílton Neiva. Itacaja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tião Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Washington Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Guata FC's Jorge Trancoso got control of the ball when Washington Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Itacaja's Luiz Fabiano Lucas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorge Trancoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Itacaja getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tony de Queirós hit a great ball. When Enrique Leme came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Guata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Leme couldn't finish the play. Jorge Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Carneiro in the 73rd minute of play. Zé Roberto Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Trancoso having to make a save. Jorge Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Carneiro in the 77th minute of the match. Guata FC's Alessandro Cavalcante got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílton Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílton Neiva came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Guata FC's Alessandro Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Alessandro Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. If Enrique Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Washington Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jorge Trancoso made a huge save. With a little luck, Guata FC's Jorge Trancoso got control of the ball when Washington Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guata FC had won after a very even match.
