Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sebastian's Manolo Vieira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Iequiri getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gilberto Meireles hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Manolo Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Quaresma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Quaresma was a little too slow when Manolo Vieira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Iequiri booed when Sebastian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian's Laércio Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Fontes in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Iequiri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leopoldo Quadros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sebastian's Manolo Vieira in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Evaristo Quaresma was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Iequiri through an amazing save. With an all-out effort, Sebastian's Evaristo Quaresma threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manolo Vieira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd minute Manolo Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Quaresma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Iequiri's goalkeeper Evaristo Quaresma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Quadros. Manolo Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Evaristo Quaresma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes, Iequiri's Eriberto de Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laércio Medeiros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iequiri reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ulisses Varela made the kick off in the second half. Laércio Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rony Fontes in the 53rd minute. Evaristo Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Quadros in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Filipe Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Quaresma having to interfere. Danilo Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Manolo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Manolo Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Quaresma was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Evaristo Quaresma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Quadros went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Sebastian's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Varela came free, but Laércio Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes, Eriberto de Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iequiri and the Sebastian players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Iequiri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Vieira in the 88th minute of play forced Iequiri's goalkeeper Evaristo Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iequiri's zone, Luiz Fábio Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Quaresma came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Quadros notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Iequiri's Evaristo Quaresma. Evaristo Quaresma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sebastian fully deserved thier win.
