Allan Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Vieira in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Geovanni Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Luís Gustavo Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Enrique Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Enrique Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Geovanni Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Lucas having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Enrique Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Vieira was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Jaguariaiva's Geovanni Cavalcante got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Prata in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Vieira saved Jaguariaiva from getting behind. 88 minutes into the game, Oscar Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaguariaiva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piraputangas the free kick. Oscar Romero hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Enrique Prata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Vieira having to make a save. Francisco Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jaguariaiva had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
