Nilson Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jaboatao's Cacá Damião got a free kick in the 10th minute. Nilson Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Moisés de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Kléberson Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Senhorita EC's Moisés de Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Senhorita EC's Tiago Gabriel Maciel got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Jaboatao getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Claudinho Prestes hit a great ball. Moisés de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Dante in the 28th minute of the match. Moisés de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Senhorita EC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Sabóia hit a great ball. Patrick Faustino struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Enrique Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senhorita EC. 47 minutes into the match, Jaboatao's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Sabóia came free, but Enrique Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléberson Neves made a kick off. Kiko Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Senhorita EC's Moisés de Souza got control of the ball when Nilson Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kiko Penha got free in front of the goal in the 61st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Enrique Leão was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Enio Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enio Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jaboatao getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Enio Severo hit a great ball. Kiko Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Leão having to make a save. Eurico Meireles hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Carlos Eduardo Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Celsinho Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Senhorita EC booed when Jaboatao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilson Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés de Souza having to interfere.
