The wind increased when Vânderson Valladares made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nicolas Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 53 minutes, Pedrão Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibiara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ipua SS's Pedro Luiz Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vânderson Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Lucas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente França. Ipua SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd minute Nicolas Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Ibiara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Valladares came free, but Anderson Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson Simões came out and tried to block the shot, but Vânderson Valladares slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 75th minute. Clemente França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Vânderson Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Simões having to interfere. Ibiara FC's Nicolas Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ipua SS booed when Ibiara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedrão Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
