Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Mattos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute of the game, Edmundo Mattos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 7 minutes, Durvalino Gaúcho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andes FC and the Marcelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Gilvan Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Walmir Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Andes FC's zone, Renan Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatello Netto came out of the goal and Renan Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anderson Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Tróia in the 21st minute. Rafael Tróia struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Anderson Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andes FC. Wilton Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anderson Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. Gualter Pitta might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anderson Novaes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Tróia got free with Anderson Novaes in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Tarcisio Saraiva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anderson Novaes. That made the score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Wilton Tavares made the kick off in the second half. If Walmir Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Donatello Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Wilton Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes, Rafael Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andes FC and the Marcelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Andes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Tróia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Martins got free with Donatello Netto in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the match, Rafael Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anderson Novaes. Marcelo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Wilton Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafael Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Anderson Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
