Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pedrinho Esteves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5thth minute of the game Enrique de Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tranquera EC's João Francisco Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Francisco Senna came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Piranj EC's Pedrinho Esteves. But to his dismay, Pedrinho Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fernando Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tranquera EC's Wanderson Souto, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tranquera EC. Wanderson Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ezequiel de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Tranquera EC defense, Pedrinho Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Francisco Senna. The Tranquera EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Francisco Senna should have stopped the shot. Pedrinho Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, Tranquera EC's Wanderson Souto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Enrique de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Fernando Silva made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Piranj EC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Silva came free, but Ezequiel de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pedrinho Esteves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Francisco Senna was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. João Francisco Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Esteves in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Tranquera EC booed when Piranj EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wanderson Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Wanderson Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tranquera EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Fernando Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ezequiel de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Souto in the 84th minute of play. Tranquera EC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedrão Sá 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. If Fernando Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wanderson Souto in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Piranj EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
