Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruninho Velloso kicked off to start the match. Gabriel Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mateus Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Marcelo FC's Edmundo Mattos in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piranj EC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Marcelo FC booed when Piranj EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderson Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Brasil during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruninho Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Walmir Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Esteves got free with Anderson Novaes in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Piranj EC got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Velloso. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmir Martins in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Velloso in the 28th minute of play forced Marcelo FC's goalkeeper Anderson Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruninho Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Marcelo FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Romeu Moraes hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Marcelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Lucas. 48 minutes in the game Edu Jacinto got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pedrinho Esteves struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Anderson Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piranj EC. Anderson Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Piranj EC's zone, Edmundo Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel de Mendonça came out of the goal and Edmundo Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piranj EC's Ezequiel de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Mattos in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Piranj EC booed when Marcelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Pedrinho Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gabriel Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes Marcelo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edu Jacinto who took care of the corner kick. Edu Jacinto made a great header on Piranj EC's corner, it was just that Marcelo FC's Anderson Novaes managed to reach the ball for a save. If Bruninho Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
