Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Júlio Alagoano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Romeu Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Júlio Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Alagoano in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aílton Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Augusto Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Hamílton Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Baltazar Paraense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Júlio Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Iranduba got a freekick which was hit by César Gerber. Baltazar Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Alagoano in the 44th minute of play. Henrique Vides struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Augusto Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iranduba. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aílton Lago to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Espadim's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Lago came free, but Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Baltazar Paraense made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Cristiano Diniz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baltazar Paraense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 60 minutes into the match, Espadim's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Lago came free, but Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espadim's Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Lago in the 64th minute of play. Aílton Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Espadim getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hamílton Magalhães hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Vides in the 75th minute of play forced Espadim's goalkeeper Augusto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar Paraense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. When Henrique Vides came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Iranduba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Vides couldn't finish the play. Augusto Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gustavo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
