Ernani Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Iranduba's Anselmo Leal got a free kick in the 45th minute. Baltazar Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson de Queirós in the 46th minute of play.

Iranduba's Baltazar Paraense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Iranduba from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, Ernani Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iranduba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cocau AD the free kick. A collision led to Iranduba getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ernani Gaúcho hit a great ball. Armando do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Paraense having to interfere. Aílton Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ernani Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson de Queirós in the 83rd minute of play forced Iranduba's goalkeeper Baltazar Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernani Veloso came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Iranduba's Aílton Lago. But to his dismay, Aílton Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rafa Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Paraense having to interfere. Ernani Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Vides in the 94th minute of play. If Henrique Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iranduba's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
