Pedro Augusto Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minerva's Robinho Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Quirino in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cristiano Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curupaiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robinho Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robinho Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Quirino in the 9th minute of the match. Gil Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Renato Pinho having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robinho Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robinho Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Quirino in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arlindo Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Augusto Quirino to make the kick off.
