The audience was convinced that Dorian Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Magalhães was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei do Nascimento got free with Ricardo Magalhães in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorian Brodel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Magalhães having to make a save. Vangloria's Dadá Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinei do Nascimentos short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Ricardo Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ricardo Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei do Nascimento in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Brodel made a kick off. The tension between the Aldeamento and the Vangloria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute Claudinei do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
