Alexsandro Bastos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Pegado getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Falcão Cerezo hit a great ball. Murilo Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Bastos having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Mathias Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro do Nascimento having to interfere. When Murilo Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Pegado fans jumped to their feet.
